7 Days After An Outstanding 50th Reunion

At Last Count, 108 Classmates and 78 Guests converged upon the Holiday Inn West in Portland Maine to celebrate Deering High School's Class of 1956 Golden 50th Reunion being raved about as a "Best of the "Best" High School Reunion Event!.

Only 10 Classmates from 270 remain MISSING

The Missing are still being pursued. If you have input with regard to their whereabouts, please communicate with Rainy or John.

The Roster will be updated with final tally post reunion data after Chairlady Lorraine "Rainy Burke" Richards returns from a well deserved vacation at the lake with family members who are visiting Maine from around the country. Those who attended the Class of 1956 50th Reunion enjoyed first hand the abundance of planning and generous contributions donated by the Reunion Launch Team and others to create an unforgettable three-day event.

Those who Attended your DHS Class of 1956 50th Reunion
When you gather your "50th Reunion Photos" send copies to Webmaster M. "Skip" Doyle as attachments to an e-mail message, or on a disk that can be originated for you at any photo center. The "Best of the Best" will be added to the 50th Reunion Memories webpage. Copies will be forwarded to Rainy to be evaluated for the DHS Class of 1956 Memory Book which should be ready for delivery in a month or so. As well, please send "Comments" pertaining to your experiences and unforgettable memories surrounding your 50th High School Reunion, and what your thoughts might be for another gathering.

Watch for a Questionnaire soliciting your input regarding future DHS Class of 1956 Events
There is already talk about putting together a Classmates 70th Birthday Celebration in a couple of years as an excuse to get together again !!! EVERY Class of 1956 Classmate will be invited to submit input to illuminate their personal thoughts and desires regarding future gatherings.
